WE BELIEVE that free enterprise and encouraging individual initiative have brought this nation opportunity, economic growth and prosperity.
 

WE BELIEVE government must practice fiscal responsibility and allow individuals to keep more of the money they earn.
 

WE BELIEVE the proper role of government is to provide for the people only those critical functions that cannot be performed by individuals or private organizations, and that the best government is that which governs least.
 

WE BELIEVE the most effective, responsible and responsive government is government closest to the people.
 

WE BELIEVE Americans must retain the principles that have made us strong while developing new and innovative ideas to meet the challenges of changing times. 
 

WE BELIEVE in American values that will preserve our national strength and pride while working to extend peace, freedom and human rights throughout the world.
 

FINALLY, WE BELIEVE the Republican Party is the best vehicle for translating these ideals into positive and successful principles of government.

​NFRW:  WHO WE ARE
​Founded in 1938, the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) is a grassroots political organization, bringing together women to positively impact the direction of our nation. The Federation strengthens the Republican Party by recruiting, training and electing candidates; advocating the Party's philosophy and initiatives; and empowering women of all ages, ethnicity and backgrounds in the political process.
 

Our mission is to provide a forum for all women to be key players at the political table on national, state, and local issues.

The Howard County Republican Women Club (HCRW) is a local county club of the NFRW organization.​NFRW & HCRW CLUB OBJECTIVES

• Promote an informed public through political education and activity.
• Increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government.
• Support the objectives and policies of our State and National Federation of Republican women.
• Work for the election of Republican candidates.
• Foster loyalty to the Republican Party to promote its principles.

• Legislation –Get Updates on current legislative issues and how to affect state and national governance and important issues before our nation.
• Get Training - Leadership, Campaigns, Get Out The Vote, Membership recruitment, Fundraising.

NFRW Community Service Programs:

• Caring for America- encourages volunteerism and private sector initiatives at all levels. Encourages local clubs and members to engage in projects that aid our U.S. troops and their families
• Americanism – encourages awareness of flag protocol and patriotism with resources, links and program ideas.

NFRW Education and Literacy Programs:

• Literacy & Mamie Eisenhower Library Project (MELP) – fosters Republican philosophy and ideas through the donation of Patriotic books and dictionaries to libraries, schools, hospitals, other institutions.
